Terms of Use for Protocol Pal: Peptide & Health

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Protocol Pal: Peptide & Health ("Protocol Pal", "the app", "the website", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Protocol Pal.

Educational tracking tool only

Protocol Pal is a private tracking, organization, calculation, education, and reporting tool. It is not a healthcare provider, medical device, pharmacy, prescriber, compounding service, lab service, or emergency service.

Adults 18+ only

Protocol Pal is designed for adults 18 years of age or older who are working with qualified healthcare professionals. The app and website may include complex pharmacological, clinical, lab, or compound information that requires adult judgment and professional guidance.

No medical advice

Protocol Pal does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, prescribe, recommend, or approve any medication, peptide, compound, supplement, dose, protocol, lab interpretation, or medical decision. Information in the app or website is for organization and educational reference only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, changing, or interpreting any protocol, compound, supplement, medication, lab, or health intervention.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for:

• confirming the accuracy of all doses, units, schedules, calculations, reminders, and reports;
• reviewing reconstitution, syringe, concentration, and inventory calculations before acting on them;
• using the app only in compliance with applicable laws, medical guidance, and app-store rules;
• obtaining professional medical advice for your personal situation;
• backing up or exporting information you want to keep.

Assumption of risk

You assume full personal responsibility for decisions made using Protocol Pal or its content. True North Health Labs, its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for adverse health outcomes, legal consequences, financial loss, data loss, or other damages arising from your use of the app, website, reports, calculations, reminders, references, or exported information.

No emergency use

Do not use Protocol Pal for urgent or emergency decisions. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency or serious adverse reaction, contact emergency services or a qualified medical professional immediately.

Calculators, reminders, and reports

Protocol Pal may include dose logging, reconstitution calculators, vial and inventory tracking, schedule reminders, half-life estimates, lab tracking, health metrics, progress photos, and provider-ready reports. These features are aids only and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or affected by user input, device settings, notification permissions, time zones, software bugs, or third-party services.

Compound library and reference content

Any compound, medication, peptide, supplement, lab, or protocol information is provided for general educational reference and personal organization. It may not be complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances. Inclusion in the app does not mean a compound is legal, approved, safe, available, recommended, or appropriate for human use.

Accuracy not guaranteed

Protocol Pal content, calculations, library entries, half-life estimates, lab ranges, marker suggestions, and reports may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or based on user-entered values. Always verify important information with your healthcare team, product labeling where applicable, and primary medical literature.

No human subject research

Protocol Pal is not a research study and does not enroll participants, obtain research consent, or share your personal tracking entries for research purposes through ordinary app use.

Legal compliance and no endorsement

Laws governing substances referenced in Protocol Pal vary by jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to comply with all laws, regulations, prescriptions, professional guidance, and app-store requirements that apply to you. Reference to any compound, protocol, product, vendor, lab marker, or report format does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, promotion, or encouragement of its use.

Accounts and data

Some Protocol Pal features may work locally on your device. Optional account, save, backup, sync, export, or restore features may be added or changed over time. You are responsible for keeping your device, credentials, exports, and backups secure.

Subscriptions and purchases

Protocol Pal may offer free features, paid subscriptions, lifetime purchases, or other in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized payment provider. Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and trials are governed by the applicable store's rules and your store account settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Protocol Pal or the website to:

• violate laws, regulations, app-store rules, or third-party rights;
• sell, distribute, source, prescribe, or facilitate unlawful access to controlled substances or regulated products;
• misrepresent app reports as medical records, prescriptions, lab orders, or clinician-approved instructions;
• attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape, overload, or compromise the app, website, or services;
• upload or transmit malicious code, abusive content, or information you do not have the right to use.

Intellectual property

Protocol Pal, the website, branding, interface, content, graphics, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or misuse them except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

Third-party services

The app or website may link to or depend on third-party services such as app stores, payment processors, operating-system features, health data permissions, cloud providers, analytics, or support email. We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, outages, or content.

Availability and changes

Features, pricing, content, app-store availability, supported devices, and cloud options may change, be limited, or be discontinued. We may update, suspend, or remove parts of Protocol Pal at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

Protocol Pal and the website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, medical suitability, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses related to health decisions, dosing decisions, missed reminders, inaccurate entries, calculations, reports, data loss, subscription issues, third-party services, or reliance on app content.

Privacy

Your use of Protocol Pal is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Protocol Pal changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app or website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
