Privacy Policy for Protocol Pal: Peptide & Health
Last updated: July 2, 2026
Protocol Pal: Peptide & Health ("Protocol Pal", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") is a private protocol tracking app for dose logs, schedules, reminders, vial inventory, reconstitution notes, labs, health metrics, reports, and compound references. This policy explains what information may be handled by the app and website.
Privacy-first design
Protocol Pal is designed as a local-first tracker. Protocol data you enter in the app is intended to remain on your device unless you choose to use an optional account, backup, export, sharing, or app-store feature that requires data to leave the device.
Information you may enter in the app
Depending on how you use Protocol Pal, you may enter protocol-related information such as compound names, dose amounts, schedules, reminder times, injection or dose sites, vial and inventory details, reconstitution values, lab markers, health metrics, notes, photos, and report content. This information can be sensitive. You control what you enter.
Optional device permissions
Protocol Pal may request optional permissions for features such as local notifications, photos, files, camera access, or Apple Health/health data import where supported. These permissions are used only to provide the feature you enable. You can change app permissions in your device settings.
Website information
The public website at protocolpal.app is a marketing and support website. It does not ask you to enter protocol, dosing, lab, or medical information. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include in that email.
Accounts, backup, and sync
If Protocol Pal offers optional account save, cloud backup, or sync features, those features may process account details and the protocol data you choose to back up. We will use that information to provide backup, restore, account access, and support. Do not enable cloud backup for information you do not want processed by a cloud service.
Purchases and app stores
Paid subscriptions or purchases are handled by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized payment provider. We do not receive your full payment card number. Store providers may share purchase status, receipt, product, renewal, region, or transaction information needed to unlock paid features and manage subscriptions.
How information is used
We use information only as needed to provide, maintain, improve, and support Protocol Pal, including to:
- store and display your protocol logs, schedules, inventory, labs, metrics, and reports;
- provide reminders, calculations, exports, and app features you request;
- respond to support, account, billing, or deletion requests;
- maintain app security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations;
- confirm app-store purchase status for premium features.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal protocol data.
- We do not use Protocol Pal to prescribe, diagnose, or provide medical care.
- We do not enroll you in a human subject research study through the app.
- We do not share your personal tracking entries for research purposes without your explicit choice or consent.
- We do not intentionally collect sensitive health details through the public website.
- We do not ask you to email private medical or dosing details unless you choose to include them for support.
Sharing and disclosure
We may share limited information with service providers only when needed for hosting, support, payments, app-store entitlement validation, backup, security, analytics, or legal compliance. If you export, screenshot, email, or share a report from the app, you are responsible for the recipient and destination.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards for the website and any optional cloud services. No app, device, email, network, or cloud service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep your device passcode, app store account, and backup account protected.
Data retention and deletion
Local app data can generally be removed by deleting entries in the app or uninstalling the app. If you use an optional account or cloud backup feature, you may request deletion of associated account or backup data by contacting support or using the account deletion page. We may retain limited records when required for security, legal, tax, payment, or dispute purposes.
Children
Protocol Pal is intended for adults and is not directed to children. The app may contain medical, treatment, pharmaceutical, or compound reference information and may be rated 17+ by app stores.
Medical privacy note
Protocol Pal is a self-tracking and education tool. It is not a healthcare provider, insurer, pharmacy, or medical records system. Do not use Protocol Pal as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Protocol Pal changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
